Context

Enterprise clients needed embedded analytics they could trust, and the work spanned every layer the tool owned: frontend, middleware, and the database services underneath.

Approach

Built and maintained the tool across every layer: the React/TypeScript frontend, Java middleware, and PL/SQL services, integrating Google Looker for embedded reporting. Pendo was instrumented alongside this to get real visibility into how the in-app analytics were actually being used.

Outcome

The Pendo instrumentation gave the team ongoing visibility into feature usage that didn't exist before, closing a gap where analytics adoption itself was invisible.
